Dimming Performance

RMT-500, RAK-4T- Minimum brightness from off: 5% Minimum brightness from max: 5% RML-500- Minimum brightness from off: 3% Minimum brightness from max: 3% RMT-Pill- Minimum brightness from off: 9% Minimum brightness from max: 9%

Smoothness of Dimming

On all the trailing edge dimmers there was no shimmer in the LEDs, also it had a smooth dim. On the RMT-500 and Rak-4T the LEDs didn't start together lower than <5%. On the leading edge dimmer when the light level was <5% there was a pulsing motion going on and a slight flicker when the LED turned off. There was a smooth dim apart from the slight flicker at the end. Inconsistency in the leading edge dimmers as not all the lights turn on when you press a scene command.

Audible Noise

There was no audible noise from the trailing edge dimmers but on the leading edge it made a buzzing noise.

Notes

Given a very good rating due to the smooth dim, even though there were some minor faults. The Rak-4T had the same results as the RMT-500 but the Rak-4T was a little bit more steppy whilst dimming. There was a slight flash when dimming up on the RMT-500. And on the RML-500 when you pressed scene 1 there was a slight delay in a couple of lamps.
